Salary: $100,000 - 150,000

As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead the development and delivery of our products using advanced Scrum practices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product vision aligns with customer needs and strategic business objectives. This role is crucial for driving product success and mentoring other team members in Agile methodologies.
Product Vision and Strategy
Vision Development: Define and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with both customer needs and business goals.
Roadmap Management: Create and maintain a strategic product roadmap that reflects key initiatives and priorities.
Backlog Management
User Stories: Write comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria that clearly articulate customer requirements and expectations.
Prioritization: Continuously prioritize the product backlog based on user feedback, market research, and business impact.
Scrum Team Leadership
Scrum Facilitation: Act as the primary point of contact for the Scrum team, leading Scrum ceremonies and fostering a collaborative environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product plans, progress, and insights to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Market Research and Analysis
Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats that could impact product strategy.
Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and new feature development.
Performance Monitoring
Metrics Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and impact.
Continuous Improvement: Use data and insights to iterate on product offerings and drive ongoing enhancements.
Mentorship and Training
Team Development: Mentor and guide junior team members on Agile practices and product ownership best practices.
Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team through workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; extensive experience in Agile product management and Scrum practices.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in product ownership or management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role within an Agile environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Agile Certified Product Manager) preferred.
Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Agile tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Setting: Remote work with occasional travel for team meetings or industry events.
Interactions: Regular collaboration with product teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive product initiatives.
