The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leading the strategy, design, development, and implementation of organizational reporting and analytics initiatives focusing on Operations. This role ensures the delivery of actionable insights and data-driven solutions that align with business objectives, enabling informed decision-making across the organization. The Business Intelligence Manager collaborates with stakeholders to identify analytics needs, oversees the development of data models and dashboards, and ensures the integrity and optimization of reporting processes.

Insights - Develop impactful organizational analytical insights that empower data-driven decision-making, uncover root causes, and promote best-practice adoption. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to seamlessly integrate these insights into strategic and operational decisions, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
Accuracy - Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data that powers organizational analytics, maintaining the integrity of insights and supporting informed decision-making across the organization.
Prioritization - Evaluate and prioritize competing business needs by managing the backlog and engaging in sprint planning sessions. Assess urgency, potential impact, and resource availability to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and the efficient allocation of resources.
Documentation - Ensure comprehensive process documentation throughout the entire analytical lifecycle by creating visual diagrams, video tutorials, and detailed written materials that clearly outline reporting architecture, functionality, and process workflows to support transparency, usability, and knowledge sharing.
Forward Thinking - Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and advancements in analytics and reporting tools to continuously enhance Business Intelligence capabilities and drive innovation in organizational insights.
Collaborate - Foster clear and effective communication with team members and external partners to promote internal and external analytical best practices. Partner with analytics SMEs to design and implement solutions that address known requirements and provide meaningful answers to relevant business questions.
User Acceptance - Develop and implement rollout strategies that drive the successful adoption and utilization of new analytical capabilities, including systems, processes, and tools, ensuring they effectively meet user needs and deliver value to the organization.
Unique Responsibilities to Operations Role
Process Optimization - Identify inefficiencies in operational workflows using data-driven approaches and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions that improve productivity and reduce costs.
Forecasting and Resource Planning - Utilize predictive analytics and forecasting models to support resource allocation, capacity planning, and operational strategy alignment with business objectives.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Establish and manage metrics specific to operational teams, providing real-time monitoring and periodic performance reports to help stakeholders understand trends and drive informed decisions.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
5+ years direct response analytics experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly skilled in Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience delivering live presentations to senior management.
Proven initiative and developed strategic perspective, decision-making ability, and analytical skills while also being comfortable working independently and in ambiguity.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with key members of internal groups, and work cross-functional to influence key stakeholders.
Experience with various reporting tools (i.e., SQL, Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
Knowledge of key metrics such as CAC, CLTV, CLTR, ROI, Gross Margin, ROAS, and AOV.
Knowledge of key industry terms and acronyms such as CPA, Customer Acquisition, CTA, CPM, CPC, PPC, and split testing.
Strong project management and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Ability to lead/work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Personify an upbeat “can do” attitude.
