About the Role

As the Director of Google & Meta Advertising at Truly Free Home, you will fully own and lead the strategy, execution, and analysis for all Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) paid marketing channels. This equal-parts analytical, creative, and strategic leadership role manages multi-million-dollar monthly budgets, drives efficient customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand awareness, and continually innovates to stay ahead in the competitive DTC wellness space. You will collaborate cross-functionally with creative, data, product, and engineering teams, and you’ll both execute campaigns hands-on and lead, build, and mentor a high-performing in-house team and external partners. Our ideal candidate is a data-driven, detail-obsessed media buying leader passionate about health and wellness, with a track record of scaling DTC brands across both Google and Meta ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the holistic paid media strategy, execution, and optimization for both Google (YouTube, Search, Display, Shopping, Discovery, Performance Max) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising channels, aligning goals with company KPIs, and driving effective omnichannel growth.
  • Develop and manage multi-million-dollar monthly media budgets, ensuring efficient customer acquisition, strong ROAS, and revenue growth.
  • Build, lead, and mentor an in-house team of media buyers, and collaborate with agencies and vendors to ensure best-in-class execution across both ad ecosystems.
  • Strategically plan, launch, manage, and optimize full-funnel campaigns—including audience research, segmentation, creative direction, funnel optimization, and rigorous testing methodologies—to maximize conversion, AOV, LTV, and subscriber growth.
  • Direct and partner with creative teams to develop high-performing, conversion-focused ad assets (video, graphics, text) tailored to each platform and customer persona.
  • Dive deep into analytics and first-party data (Tableau, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, BI tools, MMM, incrementality testing) to identify growth opportunities, spot patterns, inform hypotheses, and deliver actionable insights for continuous performance improvement.
  • Own attribution and measurement frameworks, ensuring accuracy and scalability despite rapid platform and privacy changes (e.g., iOS, algorithm shifts), while collaborating with analytics and tech teams.
  • Stay current with platform updates and best practices; proactively anticipate and adapt to evolving digital marketing and privacy landscapes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive new product go-to-market initiatives and identify compelling expansion opportunities in response to consumer and market signals.
  • Foster a systems-oriented approach, implementing highly organized, scalable, repeatable processes that enable team efficiency and campaign success.

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years experience in performance marketing, with advanced, hands-on management of large-scale (>= $3M+/month) DTC media buying for both Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and scaling both conversion-focused and full-funnel campaigns, with a strong record of exceeding CPA, ROAS, and LTV:CAC targets in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of both platforms’ advanced bidding, targeting, and attribution methodologies—including Target ROAS, Target CPA, maximize conversion value, predictive LTV, pixel tracking, etc.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and mentor high-performing acquisition teams and work seamlessly across creative, analytics, and product functions.
  • Data-driven problem-solver who thrives on analytical rigor and continuous testing, with strong skills using Excel/Google Sheets, attribution, and BI tools.
  • Strong consumer orientation and empathy for DTC and health/wellness audiences; expertise in customer personas, journey mapping, and audience research.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, balancing the demands of high autonomy and detail-oriented execution with clear, actionable leadership.
  • Bonus: Experience scaling subscription or recurring revenue products; broader paid media/channel knowledge (TikTok, Programmatic, YouTube); creative direction or copywriting skills.
